Metso sculpture, 24 cm,varnished wood
Metso (the capercaillie) is an Aarikka classic, designed by Kaija Aarikka in the 70s. It has received a new modern look, standing on its brass leg, with a round tail made of wooden beads.
The Metso sculpture of the new generation represents old classics with a modern flair. The sculpture is brought back with small changes to differentiate it from the original design, and to ensure the original stands out and does not lose its value.
