Keisarinna – 55 years of Finnish handicraft and design.
This year we celebrate the 55-year-old Keisarinna candleholder. In 1969 Kaija Aarikka designed theiconic Keisarinna candleholder, and it has kept its timeless beauty and regal shape language, from generation to generation. This design classic is true and proud of its Finnish roots – designed and made in Finland, in the hand of a talented crafter.
Keisarinna is more than a candleholder – it is an ode to the Finnish forests and wood, the pearls of the forest. Every Keisarinna is carefully made, piece by piece, with reverence for the soft, round shapes, and the warm hardness of wood. This creates a unique and festive design piece.
Grit, pride, and love for the beautiful nature of our mother land. This is the Finnish experience. Aarikka leans on Finnish know-how and uncompromising quality. We know our customers appreciate Finnish handicraft and local materials. Because design is made to bring joy, Aarikka has invested in these values for decades, and it continues.
This autumn we celebrate Keisarinna with new colours, revering the timeless and regal beauty of the design piece. Keisarinna is an outstanding example of Finnish handicraft, bringing light and beauty to every home. Join us in our celebration of the 55-year-old Keisarinna and be enchanted by it.
