The Viivi dress is made of firm fabric, and the large, horizontal frills add volume to the hem.
There is a partial hidden button placket on the chest. The dress has an ankle-length maxi hem. The dress features ¾ sleeves and pockets.

So the small details of life are visible. Light stripes visible in the wooden pearls are made by Kaija's husband Erkki Ruokonen's unique technique, which is still used to hand-dye all wooden products in Raisio.
