Aarikka has always been about round, wooden forms, skillfully made beads and streamlined design. That’s why there is no pattern more inherently Aarikka than the Pearl, which has now been incorporated into the wonderfully breezy Sia dress.
The bodice of the Sia dress features a crimped 3D structure made of recycled polyester. The dress has a free hemline and elasticated cuffs.

Care instructions: Machine wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle. Wash with similar colors. Dry cleaning allowed. Reshape to dry. Dry flat. May shrink 5–7 %.

Did you notice the wood grains?
Every wooden Aarikka item is unique, because every piece of wood is unique. Products are handmade, visible in them and the volume they are made in - small volumes for a need. So the small details of life are visible. Light stripes visible in the wooden pearls are made by Kaija's husband Erkki Ruokonen's unique technique, which is still used to hand-dye all wooden products in Raisio.
