The Nuppu bowl is an elegant eye-catcher. The simplified lines of the downwards tapering Nuppu bowl are softened by the conical wooden beads characteristic to the Aarikka design language. The wooden beads are detachable and easily swapped out. The ceramic bowl itself is dishwasher and microwave safe. Place a lovely plant in the bowl, or use it for serving or as a part of your home décor – only your imagination sets the limits. This timeless Finnish beauty also makes a great graduation or wedding gift.

Did you notice the wood grains?
Every wooden Aarikka item is unique, because every piece of wood is unique. Products are handmade, visible in them and the volume they are made in - small volumes for a need. So the small details of life are visible. Light stripes visible in the wooden pearls are made by Kaija's husband Erkki Ruokonen's unique technique, which is still used to hand-dye all wooden products in Raisio.
